Freelance Writing

I love to sit by the river and write. In fact, I am thinking about quitting my job and becoming a writer. The biggest obstacle to doing that for me is paying for Medical insurance and Dental insurance for me and my family. I love to write and need to figure out a way to eliminate this obstacle. Any thoughts?
